Make your trip special with the local!

Born and raised in Hiroshima, I am a third generation A-bomb survivor and now work as an occupational therapist at a hospital. In my university days, I participated in a work camp at an orphanage in Kenya, crossed the American continent by myself, and went backpacking around Europe. The greatest charm of traveling for me is to visit supermarkets and see the real lives of the locals. Currently, while working at a hospital, I joined the “Hello Hiroshima Project” and work as a volunteer guide for foreign tourists at Hiroshima Station. This project gives me the opportunities to get in touch with people from all over the world. In Hiroshima, I would like to offer you a unique experience by guiding you not only to standard tourist sights such as the Atomic Bomb Dome, but also to spots where you can get a glimpse of the daily lives of the locals. I am waiting for you and let’s enjoy Hiroshima together.
